It all started with a leap of faith, a wood-fired oven mounted on a 1984 military trailer, and a dream of bringing people together over great pizza, good company, and a table full of food.
Since 2015, Itsa Pizza Truck has brought wood-fired sourdough pizza to weddings, rehearsal dinners, birthdays, and celebrations throughout New York’s Hudson Valley. What began with weekend farmers’ markets and plenty of trial and error has grown into ten years of catering memorable gatherings, one pizza at a time.
Now, that same oven and passion for great food are heading south, with an expanded menu rooted in rustic Italian cooking.
Introducing The Wood Fired Private Chef, our sister company bringing the Itsa Pizza Truck tradition to South Florida. Our signature wood-fired pizzas remain at the heart of what we do, alongside a fuller expression of rustic Italian cooking—from wood-fired vegetables and handmade dishes to generous spreads meant to be shared around the table.
Based in Jupiter, The Wood Fired Private Chef will serve private events throughout Palm Beach and Broward counties this winter. For me, this move also means being closer to family—and enjoying a little more sunshine along the way.
